Thank you for stopping by. I’m Marie, founder of M2JL STUDIO, a design and decorating firm in the National Capital Region, specializing in modern design. After a number of successful years working as a building engineer, and with the support of my wonderful husband, I took the plunge and started my own company.
Soon after launching my own company came this blog. Then a TV show, various teaching positions and another blog. I have taught several design and decorating classes for the Academie des Arts et du Design, iLasalle College, College Marie Victorin and will soon be teaching at La Cité Collégiale. Having graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Montreal, l also hold a bachelor of building engineering from Concordia University and have been involved in several energy efficient and sustainable building projects. Passionate about modern and innovative design, I am an active member of CDECA and ARIDO.
